PRIEST LAKE 2006

This is the first of a series of photos from Priest Lake, Idaho

While boating up the "thoroughfare," connecting lower and upper Priest Lake, we came across a moose, with her calf, swimming across the channel.

After they reached the far side of the channel they quickly trotted into the thick Idaho forest.

On the return trip back from Upper Priest Lake, we watched this old dude, feeding on the succulent reeds on the waters edge.
