PHOTO OF THE DAY - August 6, 2007

We got a phone call just after dinner, this evening, from our neighbor, Everett Hatley. He said there was a moose crossing over our property, just behind the barn.

We grabbed the binoculars and sure enough, there was a big moose, just up the hill, eating leaves and apples off the trees. Unfortunately, we didn't have the camera handy and by the time we could have got it, it was too dark ... So, this is the best I can do for a moose photo.

(Maybe he'll stick around until tomorrow, if he likes the food.)
