Night Noise
What is "Night Noise?" Any pilot will tell you that after the sun goes down - and it gets really dark - you begin to hear aircraft "noises" that you never heard before.

Weather Station Information
We are using a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather system. In addition to weather information on my blog, it is also feeding data to NOAA and WeatherUnderground.
The TOP PHOTO is of the Integrated Sensor Suite which currently consists of the rain collector, outside temperature and humidity collector. It is mounted on the garden fence, is solar powered and connected to the computer by a wireless datalink. Later, I will be adding a solar UV and heating collector.
The BOTTOM PHOTO is the Anemometer installation. It measures wind speed and direction and is calibrated to magnetic north. It is mounted on an existing post, with a ten foot steel tube extension. The anemometer is approximately twenty-five feet above ground. It is also solar powered and connected with a wireless datalink.

This Photo Really Needs A Caption
I think this photo REALLY needs a cool caption, don't you? Please go to "comments," below and add your ideas.
I'll start it off:
Roger Sez: "Geez ... I didn't realize the board was so hot!"
Jacqueline Sez: "Watch me bull dog this shark"
Bryan sez: "Dude, I'm ripped!"
Sharon sez: "If you don't want to get wet then don't go in the water."
Anthony sez: "Did my Dr. Scholls spray wear off? board took off."
Bryan Sez: "And then, much to the surprise of the photographer, Bryan spread his long arms and flew away. He was never seen again..."
Dad sez: "While doing his famous 'Jump From One Board To The Next' trick, he was heard yelling, 'Where is that damn board?"
